2013 Bukavu Mil Mi-8 crash
On March 9, 2013, a Mil Mi-8 helicopter with Russian crew crashed near Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, resulting in the death of all four on-board. The helicopter was part of United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

On 9 March 2013, a United Nations helicopter owned by UTair Aviation crashed due to the weather, killing its entire four-man Russian crew. The bodies were found at the site of the crash.
